ARENA Network 15th Annual Environmental Benchmarking Survey
ARENA Network has conducted the annual Northern Ireland Environmental Management Survey since 1998. This business-led initiative is widely recognized as the principal measure of environmental engagement in Northern Ireland and examines the leading 200 companies, government departments, local councils, Health Trusts, and the education sector.
The Survey benchmarks organizations against both their sector peers and the leading Northern Ireland organizations on the basis of their environmental management and performance in key areas.
A voluntary exercise, the Survey helps organizations analyse gaps, measure progress, drive improvement and raise awareness of the environment as a strategic, competitive issue at board level.
Last year, 129 organisations from 15 different sectors took part, reaching an average score of 71%.

ARENA Network aims to continue to encourage, steer, and support businesses of all sizes towards environmental improvement by taking part in the Survey.
